PURPOSE: A wood head for a golf club is provided to multiply the repulsive power in hitting balls and to improve the impact absorption capacity while stabilizing directionality. CONSTITUTION: A wood head for a golf club includes: grooves which are radially prepared on the rear surface of the main body and in which cross section gradually increases from the center part to the outside; insertion grooves(31) which are formed on the fours surfaces which are prepared by partitioning the rear side of hitting surface vertically and horizontally; a center groove(32) which is connected to each groove at the center of the hitting surface; and a bumpy waveform part is formed on the rear side of the hitting surface in the radius direction. |
