FIELD: oil and gas production. ^ SUBSTANCE: packer consists of hollow shaft, packing element, cone, upper stop, hollow branch, ferrule, oval sockets, guiding pin, position holder of packing element, spring retaining ring in internal circular groove of cone, spring loaded bearing cone, split cone, upper dies, and of additional branch with cone surfaces. A closed shaped slot in form of lengthwise short and long sections connected with a shaped section is made on external surface of the shaft. When the guiding pin travels in the slot up and down at a length exceeding length from an upper edge of the shaped slot to the bottom of the long lengthwise section, the ferrule stays in a transport position, at shorter length the ferrule comes into an operational position. The position holder of the packing element is made as a sleeve with external grooves to interact with a spring ring. The upper dies are connected with the retaining ring by means of plates. In the stop there is made a recess with an additional spring ring; on the additional branch there is positioned a sleeve with external grooves. The hollow branch is equipped with a plug on top. The upper stop is made sectional and consists of a lower part coupled with the packing element, of an upper part tied with the split cone and of a sub. ^ EFFECT: reliable design of upper retaining unit, ability to reciprocate packer during lowering at freeze-in and reliable and pressure tight packer seating at low efforts. ^ 3 cl, 4 dwg |
