PURPOSE: A superconducting cable terminal connection box is provided to maintain the internal pressure of a temperature gradient section by securing a communication path between the cooling container and a flange. CONSTITUTION: A cooling container(110) is filled with liquid nitrogen. The superconductor of a superconductive cable is located inside the cooling container. An insulating tube(150) is communicated with the cooling container. A terminal conductor is located inside the insulating tube. A flange(160) forms a temperature gradient section(130) in the insulating tube.
