LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent the detection of interference images at the front viewing angle when a narrow viewing angle mode is implemented by dividing each interference image pattern into two regions. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel has unit pixels of a quad-type. A unit pixel includes a R,G,B sub pixel and an ECB sub pixel. A data driver drives the datalines of the liquid crystal panel. A gate driving part drives the gate lines of the liquid crystal panel. A timing control part supplies the R,G,B data and the ECB data to the data driver in a narrow viewing angle driving mode.
