PURPOSE: An illuminating device and a display device thereof are provided to prevent color stain by using a refraction lattice which prevents the light from a different light source from being mixed. CONSTITUTION: A trigonal pyramid refraction grating(4) is formed in the emission face of a light guide plate. A convex reflective face(5) is formed in the bottom surface of the light guide plate. A parallel light is irradiated to the side of the light guide plate and a reflecting surface. A liquid crystal display device magnifies a luminous flux in the reflecting surface, reflects it to the trigonal pyramid refracting grating, and irradiates it to a sub pixel. The device irradiate the three colored parallel lights to the sub pixel.
