PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method of producing tabasheer are provided to easily extract enough amount of tabasheer, and to use an indirect heating process for preventing the flame contacting bamboo. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus of producing tabasheer comprises the following: a tabasheer extracting container(110) storing bamboo, including a discharging unit; a carbonization room(121) receiving the tabasheer extracting container; a heating member(123) installed on the carbonization room; a tabasheer extracting furnace(120) including a tabasheer collector(130) and a connection pipe(150); a tabasheer cooling device(170); a controller(180) controlling the temperature inside the carbonization room; and a temperature sensor(129) installed inside the carbonization room.
