HALOGEN-FREE FLAME RETARDANT COMPOSITION FOR MANUFACTURING SHEATH MATERIAL OF UTP CABLE

PURPOSE: A halogen-free flame retardant composition is provided to prevent pores from being generated on the inner part of a material during a process of manufacturing a UTP cable and to be used for manufacturing a sheath material of the UTP cable. CONSTITUTION: A halogen-free flame retardant composition comprises: a base resin including 50-95 weight% of a polyolefin-based resin and 5-50 weight% of a reactive polyolefin-based resin having a polar functional group; 50-200 parts by weight of magnesium hydroxide which is a flame retardant; a mixture of huntite, hydromagnesite, and zinc borate based on 100.0 parts by weight of the base resin; and 1-10 parts by weight of magnesium oxide which is a water remover.
