摘要 FIELD: power industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of thermal energy mechanical conversion comprises adding of catalytic substance (spin catalysator) to operating fluid, transfer of thermal energy to operating fluid in reservoir. This energy is enough for the passage of operating fluid from liquid phase to the vapour phase. Operating fluid in vapour phase is supplied to device for energy mechanical conversion with extansion of vapour operating fluid and temperature and pressure drop. Then operating fluid is being condenced and cycled back in liquid phase to reservoir. Catalytic substance is added to operating fluid before or after thermal energy is transfered to fluid. Catalytic substance is solid material, its solution or suspension or liquid. Catalytic substance comprises carbonyl functional group and in IR spectrum it has intensive absorbation band in the area from 1550 to 1850 cm-1. The said substance is added in a quantity of 0.0000001 to 1.0 wt %. Liquid hydrocarbon or mixture of liquid hydrocarbons is used as operating fluid. When using water, method of enthalpy and aqueous vapour compressability factor increase is implemented. ^ EFFECT: increase of thermal energy mechanical conversion efficiency with simultenious extension of operation functionality, processibility and safety. ^ 5 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
