FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: grinding method of suspension high-voltage insulators by means of surface mechanical action on excess connection on insulator surface with a rotating brush, in which there implemented is preliminary air blow-off of insulator the temperature of which is chosen within the interval providing the connecting part loss of adhesion capability, the insulator is brought into operation; at that, rotation speed of brush is not less 1000 rpm. Device for grinding suspension high-voltage insulators includes attachment point of insulators and rotating brush for cleaning of insulators, in which the attachment point of insulators is made in the form of turn-table with support cavities for insulator caps; device is equipped with rotation mechanisms and vertical movement of insulator; brush is equipped with rotation drive and hold-down mechanism; device is equipped with air supply elements installed along the route of movement of insulators towards turn-table. ^ EFFECT: increasing removal efficiency of excess sand-cement mixture during manufacture of suspension high-voltage insulators, and hand work is not used. ^ 10 cl, 2 dwg |
