<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a permanent magnet motor which prevents step-out of a sensorless drive permanent magnet motor and controls the magnet motor efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor position estimating unit 8 calculates a load angle θe from a drive current to the permanent magnet motor 2. A model calculating unit 10 calculates a load variation based on a physical model having a motion equation representing the relation between the permanent magnet motor 2 and a load thereon, a voltage instruction, and a drive current, and calculates a load angle θm based on the calculated load variation. A mixer unit 12 synthesizes the load angles θe and θm at a ratio that is determined based on the load variation, and outputs a load angle θ resulting from the synthesis to a vector control computing unit 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
