<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal adsorbent capable of selectively recovering useful metal by effectively making use of biomass waste. <P>SOLUTION: The metal adsorbent includes an acetylated chitosan derivative comprised of acetylated chitosan, a graft chain formed on a hydroxy group of a constituent of the acetylated chitosan by carrying out graft polymerization of a monomer comprising a radically polymerizable double bond, and a metal coordinating functional group introduced into a side chain of the graft chain. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
