PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a sense of discomfort that a driver feels to avoidance control. SOLUTION: A control device 14 for controlling a vehicle determines the contribution degree of the driver's vehicle operation to avoidance control based on the extent of a settable range of an avoidance route, and controls a brake actuator 12 and a steering actuator 13 according to a steering angle profile and the contribution degree. A vehicle 1 thereby travels along the avoidance route, and a steering angle, an accelerator opening and a brake fluid pressure are controlled so that the driver's vehicle operation becomes the degree of suppression corresponding to the contribution degree. Consequently, since avoidance control is carried out considering the extent of the range of the avoidance route and the influence of the driver's avoidance operation on the avoidance control, the sense of discomfort that the driver feels in the avoidance control can be reduced.
