<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black timepiece dial having superior durability, sufficient high-grade feeling and a superior esthetic appearance; to provide a manufacturing method capable of manufacturing properly the timepiece dial; and to provide a timepiece including the timepiece dial. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This timepiece dial 1 includes a substrate 2 constituted of a light-transmissible material, and a carbon film 3 provided on the first surface 21 side which is one main surface of the substrate 2 and constituted mainly of carbon. The substrate 2 includes fine irregularities 221 having a function for reflecting or scattering entering light from the first surface 21 side, on the second surface 22 which is a main surface on the opposite side to the first surface 21.
