Provided are a rolled material and a rolled material manufacturing method with which floating will not easily occur between base material films and an optical film. Provided is a rolled material (R) wherein a first base material film (F12), a first adhesive layer (F14), an optical film (F11), a second adhesive layer (F15) and a second base material film (F13) are rolled up to be layered in said order from the outer side. The adhesive strength (A) of the first adhesive layer (F14) at the interface on the first base material film (F12) side, the adhesive strength (B) of the first adhesive layer (F14) at the interface on the optical film (F11) side, the adhesive strength (C) of the second adhesive layer (F15) at the interface on the optical film (F11) side, and the adhesive strength (D) of the second adhesive layer (F15) at the interface on the second base material (F13) side satisfy the relationships A < B and A < C < D. Floating between base material films (F12, F13) and optical film (F11) can be made unlikely to occur by rolling up the optical film (F11) with the second base material film (F13), that has greater adhesive strength, on the inside. |
