PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that prevents leak of electromagnetic waves to the outside of the device and minimizes the weight increase of the device itself. SOLUTION: In this display device, a pointer type display section 10 including a pointer 11, a driving device 12 for operating the pointer 11, and a display plate 14 having a display section 14a indicated by the pointer 11 is disposed in parallel with a displaying means 20 including a display element 21 and a frame body 23 having an opening window 23a exposing a display region of the display element 21. The pointer type display section 10 has a wiring board 13 having a first control means M1 for controlling the driving device 12. This displaying means 20 includes a circuit board 24 having an outer shape smaller than that of the wiring board 13, a second controlling means M2 arranged on the circuit board 24, a wiring member 25 for conducting and connecting the display element 21 to the circuit board 24, and a shield member 26 arranged in the frame body 23 so as to surround the circuit board 24 and wiring member 25.
