<p>The present invention relates to an air conditioner installed in an elevator. The present invention aims to provide an air conditioner for an elevator, wherein condensate water generated by an evaporator during operation is evaporated and removed, while reducing power consumption and preventing the recondensation of the evaporated condensate water. To accomplish the aim, the air conditioner for an elevator according to the present invention comprises a condensate water-removing device including a water-collecting reservoir in which condensate water delivered via a water-collecting pipe is stored, a heater installed in the water-collecting reservoir to heat the condensate water, and a drain pipe installed in the water-collecting reservoir to drain the condensate water evaporated by the heater to the outside. The drain pipe extends to the air discharge side of a condenser, and has outlet holes or drain holes formed in the delivery path of air heated by the condenser to discharge the evaporated condensate water.</p> |
