An analysis device (S) is equipped with a first analysis part (A1), which employs a first nozzle (4A) to collect a sample and performs an analysis thereof, a second analysis part (A2), which employs a second nozzle (4B) to collect a sample and performs an analysis thereof, and a transport device (2), which transports multiple sample containers (30) by a specified transport route (29), wherein, when in specified standby mode in which the transport of the multiple sample containers (30) is paused or stopped, the sample collection position of at least one of the first and second nozzles (4A, 4B) is changed and a sample (B) is collected by this repositioned nozzle from the multiple sample containers (30). In this way, the analysis processing efficiency of the analysis device (S) can be increased, while keeping the structure of the transport device (2) from becoming larger and more complicated.
