<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eye-fundus image analysis system, providing useful information for enabling an ophthalmologist to easily diagnose symptoms of early diabetic retinopathy by highlighting capillary aneurysm in a retina region using image analysis technology. <P>SOLUTION: The analysis system 1 comprises an analysis computer 2 provided with a fundus image data input receiving means 10 to receive input of fundus image data 6, a filter forming means 15 to form a double ring filter comprising a first filter, a blank part, and a second filter, an average value computation means 16 to compute an average value A of a pixel value in an inner ring region IR by the first filter 12, a histogram forming means 17 to form a histogram of an outline region by the second filter, and an output value generating means 18 to determine a ratio from the histogram, and generate as a filter output value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
