<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the activity of returned sludge which is returned in a sewage treatment line, effectively with a simple structure in this return process. <P>SOLUTION: A device B is part of a return line 1 for the returned sludge M in the sewage treatment line, and includes: a tubular mixing means 3 for mixing the returned sludge M passed therethrough with air by means of expanded-diameter parts 3a and reduced-diameter parts 3b provided alternately, downstream of an air supply means 2 for supplying air to the returned sludge M; and a tank-like mixing means 4 disposed downstream of the tubular mixing means 3, for receiving the returned sludge M. The tank-like mixing means 4 is provided with a partition plate 4b which is located in front of an inflow part 4a for the returned sludge M disposed on the upper side of the tank, divides the inside of the tank into a primary side space 4e on the side of the inflow part and a secondary side space 4f on the side of an outflow part 4o, makes the clearance between the lower end 4c and a tank bottom 4g serve as a discharge part 4h for discharging the returned sludge M to the secondary side space 4f, and turns the secondary side space 4f wider upward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
