摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoelectric conversion element whose cathode buffer layer has excellent film deposition properties and heat resistance, and which has high energy conversion efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The organic photoelectric conversion element has a layer formed of a benzophosphore compound expressed by formula (I) between an active layer and a cathode. In formula (I), R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>each independently represent a saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group, alkoxy group, aromatic hydrocarbon group, or aromatic heterocycle group, and (n) represents 2 or 3.
