<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient media conversion service. <P>SOLUTION: A media conversion system includes: a communication media decision means that issues a connection request to a second terminal upon receiving a connection request with the second terminal from a first terminal and determines the coincidence of communication media kinds of the first terminal and the second terminal based on available communication media information in the first and second terminals upon receiving a response from the second terminal, a policy information management means that manages policy information showing a user policy in the case where communication media kinds do not match, a policy execution means that executes processing according to the user policy of policy information based on the decision results of the communication media decision means and the policy information of the terminal, and a media conversion means that performs conversion processing of media data upon receiving requests from the policy execution means when the user policy includes execution of media conversion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
