<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flexibility of adjustment of the drawn position of a seat belt webbing which is drawn to the shoulder part of a sitting occupant. <P>SOLUTION: In this seat belt device 10, the band-like seat belt webbing 11 (hereafter, referred to as a webbing 11) which restrains the body of the sitting occupant to a vehicle seat 1 is diagonally applied and attached to the sitting occupant from the shoulder part to the waist part. By the engagement with the webbing 11, a guide 26 guides the webbing to the drawn position of the webbing 11 on the shoulder part of the sitting occupant. An adjustment mechanism 30 is connected to the guide 26, and adjusts the drawn position of the webbing 11 obtained through the guide by the guide 26 by moving the guide 26.
