<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric toothbrush lightweight, compact, making little noise, convenient to carry, excelling in fashionability and having a simple attaching/detaching structure of a toothbrush body. <P>SOLUTION: The electric toothbrush comprises a body 1 having a vibrating transmission rod at the tip of a connection part 11 on one side, formed with a storage part of a dry battery on the other side, including a driving motor in an intermediate region and having an outer cover integrally fitted to the outer peripheral surface; a body cover body 2 surrounding the storage part, with the open side end fitted to the other side of the body; the toothbrush body 4 detachably connected to the vibration transmission rod; and a toothbrush case body 3 surrounding the toothbrush body, with the open side end fitted to one side of the body. The connection part 11 of the body and the toothbrush body 4 have an antibacterial function, and the outer edge shape of the body cover body 2, outer cover 11e and toothbrush case body 3 is octagonal column shape.
