PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a ceiling fan capable of adjusting a rotating speed in response to the indoor temperature with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This ceiling fan has a connecting part fixed to the ceiling, an electric motor 3 for vertically arranging a rotary shaft in a lower part of this connecting part, a temperature detector 6 for detecting the ambient temperature and a control part 7 for driving the electric motor 3 by estimating the room temperature by the temperature detected by this temperature detector, in a lower part of this electric motor 3. The control part 7 estimates the indoor temperature by the temperature detected by the temperature detector to drive the electric motor 3, and thereby, the ceiling fan capable of adjusting the rotating speed in response to the room temperature with a simple constitution, can be provided.
