PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily complement data even if there are missing data in a transmission process of radiographic image information. SOLUTION: An image capturing apparatus establishes a communication link with one console and transmits obtained radiographic image information Da to the one console. The one console includes a backup unit 148 therein. The backup unit 148 includes means (a network monitoring unit and a backup data storage unit) for monitoring a network, reading the radiographic image information during transmission thereof via the network, and temporarily storing the radiographic image information as backup data, and means (a complementary data extraction unit 154 and a complementary data transmission unit 156) for transmitting to another console as complementary data a portion or all of the backup data, in accordance with a data complementing request from the one console.
