<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time for setting up a bent optical disk. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the optical disk play back device 1, specification information specifying the setup position of a reading means 3 corresponding to a relationship between each of a plurality of temperatures and an amount of warpage of an optical disk 30 is stored in a specification information storage means D1. When a temperature detection means 12 detects a temperature near the optical disk 30, a specifying means P1 specifies the setup position of the reading means 3 corresponding to the temperature based on the temperature and specification information.
