<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an energy absorbing structure in a slider device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This slider device of a vehicle seat in which a seat body 1 is slidably connected to a floor F includes long slide rails 7 and sliders 5A. The slide rails 7 are affixed to the floor F, and the sliders 5A are assembled slidably in the respective slide rails 7. The sliders 5A are connected to a seat body 1, and slid integrally. Each slide rail 7 comprises a deformation guide means (recessed part 7H) for deformably guiding each slide rail 7 in such a manner that a simple support beam is elastically deformed in an upwardly deformed smooth curved shape by a pressing force from the slider 5A when a large load to forcibly displace the seat body 1 in the direction in which the seat body is peeled off from the floor F is input into the seat body.
