<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile wireless device capable of preventing the degradation of the characteristics of an antenna when configuring a casing dipole antenna and reducing dead space inside a casing, in the mobile wireless device with the casing which is slidably connected. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The mobile wireless device includes: an upper side casing 11; a lower side casing 12 slidably connected with the upper side casing 11; an upper side circuit board 13 inside the upper side casing 11; a lower side circuit board 14 inside the lower side casing 12; ground patterns provided on the upper side circuit board 13 and divided into a first ground pattern 15a and a second ground pattern 15b; and a power supply part 17 provided on the dividing position of the ground pattern, for supplying power from one ground pattern to the other ground pattern. Also, when the casing is in an extended state, the lower side circuit board 14 and the first ground pattern 15a are at non-opposed positions in the thickness direction of the casing, and the lower side circuit board 14 and the dividing position and the second ground pattern 15b are at opposed positions in the thickness direction of the casing.
