<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator including a human body detecting sensor capable of preventing incorrect detection of an animal such as dogs and cats for a human. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a home keeping an animal such as dogs and cats, the human body detecting sensor 7 is vertically rotated through a movable supporting member 30, to adjust a sensing range in the height direction to be higher than stature of the animal such as dogs and cats, thus incorrect detection of the animal coming around the refrigerator 1 for the human can be prevented.
