PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism of limiting a facsimile sending based on a network address converted from the input telephone number. SOLUTION: An MFP 100 performs an IP-FAX sending by using an SIP server 104. When this IP-FAX sending is performed, the MFP 100 designates a telephone number of a destination to inquire of an ENUM server 105, and obtains destination information (network address) returned from the ENUM server 105. The MFP 100 determines whether or not a domain of the obtained destination information corresponds to a sending limitation domain. When the domain of the destination information corresponds to the sending limitation domain, the MFP 100 limits the IP-FAX sending of which the destination is based on the destination information.
