<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel filtering device for preventing an internal combustion engine from becoming an output reduction state, in a state of being advanced in clogging of a filter to an extent of requiring the replacement. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This fuel filtering device has two filters (a first filter 31 and a second filter 32) as a filter for filtering foreign matter in fuel. A first flow passage 30a for arranging the first filter 31 and a second flow passage 30b for arranging the second filter 32 are arranged in parallel, and a valve 33 (a flow passage switching means) is arranged in a downstream side of the second filter 32 out of the second flow passage 30b. Thus, in ordinary time when the first filter 31 is not clogged, the valve 33 is closed, so that the fuel is made to flow to the first filter 31, and a flow to the second filter 32 is cut off, and when clogging of the first filter 31 is caused, the valve 33 operates for opening, so that the fuel is made to flow to the second filter 32.
