PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning apparatus in which density variation is reduced while reducing complication of light quantity control. SOLUTION: When scanning is performed so that one line among a plurality of scanning lines to be scanned with adjacent polygon mirror faces is superimposed, a selector 324 distributes one-line image data string of original image data, on which the N-th polygon mirror scanning line and N+1th polygon mirror scanning line are superimposed, to each pixel. The image data strings distributed to each pixel are stored in the final line address of the N-th scanning and the first line address of the N+1th scanning of a memory 321. The image data stored in the memory 321 are sent to a PWM generation part 306 by each scanning and transformed into a PWM signal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
