<p>PURPOSE: A display device and a stand assembly for the display device are provided to implement swivel, tilting and rotation of an image display device by providing a bi-axial hinge module which enables swivel and tilting in relation to a rotating plate. CONSTITUTION: A stand assembly of an image display apparatus(10) includes a connection joint(110), a link member(150) and a base(170). The connection joint rotates in relation to a housing(30) of the image display device. One end of the link member is rotated in relation to the connection joint, and the base rotates in relation to the other end of the link member.
