PURPOSE: A composition containing Cudrania tricuspidata leaves and wax gourd is provided to suppress atopic dermatitis and to reduce pain of a patient with atopic dermatitis. CONSTITUTION: A composition for suppressing atopic dermatitis contains 75-95 weight% of Cudrania tricuspidata leaves and 5-25 weight% of wax gourd. The composition additionally contains 5-10 weight parts of mung bean, Taraxaci Herba, paeonia japonica, nepetae Spica, bamboo leaf, torilidis Fructus or glycyrrhizae radix. The composition for suppressing atopic dermatitis is manufactured in the form of oral formulation or external use formulation. The oral formulation is a powder, pill, capsule, pellet, and tablet.
