<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unauthorized use of an unauthorized storage medium with respect to a storage medium, and to provide an unauthorized medium reading preventing device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A storage medium 7 has an RFID tag 8 on the surface of the medium body 7a, and the RFID tag 8 has a circuit part formed by printing in a fracture part 13 of a printing surface formed on a base 14. According to this configuration, the circuit part 15 is fractured, and then the RFID tag 8 cannot be reused, if an unauthorized use of the RFID tag for another storage medium 7 is attempted by an unauthorized tampering operation of peeling the RFID tag 8 off the storage medium 7, or the like.
