PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire increased in wear resistance while maintaining high drainage property. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire has, in a tread part 2, a plurality of main grooves 22 extending in the circumferential direction of the tire. The pneumatic tire satisfies the requirement 0.3(TW/2)≤L0≤0.6(TW/2) when a tire ground-contact width is TW and the length of the tire in the tire width direction from the side wall 22ba of the second main groove 22b on the outer side of the tire in the tire width direction to the equator C of the tire on the outermost side of the tire in the tire width direction is L0. When the thickness of the tread part 2 at the position of the first main groove 22a nearest the equator C of the tire is Gc and the thickness of the tread part 2 at the position of the second main groove 22b positioned on the outermost side of the tire in the tire width direction is Gs, the pneumatic tire satisfies the requirement 1.05≤Gs/Gc≤1.35.
