PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain both high conductivity and mechanical holding force to a conductor and disconnection prevention effect of the conductor compatibly by forming the edge portion of a conductor locking groove in a prescribed angle. SOLUTION: In the crimp style terminal 1 in which a conductor caulking part 11 has a conductor mounting portion 15 to mount a conductor 5 and caulking members 17, 17 to hold the conductor 5, and a plurality of conductor locking grooves 19 are provided in the conductor mounting portion 15, a slit portion 21 is formed around the conductor locking grooves 19 and the edge portion 23 of the conductor locking grooves 19 is made into a right angle.
