PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a purification device which removes contaminants generated in bath water with a simple configuration while suppressing the amount of used bath water. SOLUTION: The purification device includes a positive electrode 321A and a negative electrode 322B arranged so as to face each other in the bathtub supply pipe P18 of a hot-water supply apparatus for taking out and heating the bath water in a bathtub and returning it to the bathtub, and a power source control part for applying a positive pulse voltage to the positive electrode 321A and applying a negative pulse voltage to the negative electrode 322B to generate an electric discharge between the positive electrode 321A and the negative electrode 322B.
