<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation level reducing device capable of more effectively, easily and inexpensively reducing noise (electromagnetic wave) radiated from an electromagnetic wave generation source such as an electronic circuit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The radiation level reducing device 100 has a plurality of slits SA-SD separated from one another and is formed into a band shape in a cover region Ar set within a plane of a metal plate 10 capable of covering at least the entire surface of an electromagnetic wave generation source R wherein each of the plurality of slits SA-SD includes drawing slits S1A-S1D formed to extend toward the center O of the cover region from intense electric field positions VA-VD and coupling slits S2A-S2D formed to extend so as to be aligned in parallel with the other slit from an end in the center direction of the cover region in the drawing slit.
