PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grate in a cinerator in which a contact face with a carriage and a contact face with a coffin are formed to have a cross shape and which is placed and supported in the stable state, improves flowing of combustion gas and has excellent combustion efficiency. SOLUTION: In the grate 1 in the cinerator 9, a space 10 is formed between the carriage 7 and the coffin 8 to improve combustion efficiency. The grate 1 is formed to have a cross shape by projecting plates 2, 3, 4, 5 projecting to the forward/backward and right/left directions in plane view.
