PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine bearing structure contributing to the improvement of the sitting property to a frame, of an upper bearing supporting an upper shaft and a lower bearing supporting a lower shaft. SOLUTION: This structure includes the upper shaft 22, the upper bearing 3, the lower shaft 26, the lower bearing 3D, an upper shaft timing pulley 23, a timing pulley 27 of the lower shaft 26, and a timing belt 28 trained along the upper shaft timing pulley 23 and the timing pulley 27 of the lower shaft 26. The upper bearing 3 is held on the upper surface 15u of the upper shaft fixing frame part 15 of the frame 1. The lower bearing 3D is held on the lower surface 16d of the lower shaft fixing frame part 16 of the frame 1. The tension of the timing belt 28 acts in the direction of bringing the upper bearing 3 close to or into press contact with the upper surface 15u of the upper shaft fixing frame part 15 and also in the direction of bringing the lower bearing 3D close to or into press contact with the lower surface 16d of the lower shaft fixing frame part 16.
