PRODUCTION PROCESS FOR SOFT MAGNETIC MATERIAL, SOFT MAGNETIC MATERIAL, AND POWDER MAGNETIC CORE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process for a soft magnetic material, the material being used to manufacture a powder magnetic core having sound silicone films formed around outer peripheries of soft magnetic metal particles and also having superior magnetic characteristics and high strength. SOLUTION: The production process for the soft magnetic material includes: preparing material powder composed of soft magnetic metal particles 1 and mixing a first resin material containing silicone to cure through hydrolysis and condensation polymerization reaction with the material powder; forming inside coatings 2, in which condensation polymerization reaction of the first resin material has progressed by being subjected to heat treatment, on surfaces of the soft magnetic metal particles 1; mixing a second resin material containing silicone to cure through hydrolysis and condensation polymerization reaction with the material powder composed of the soft magnetic metal particles 1 having the inside coatings 2; and forming outside coatings 3, in which condensation polymerization reaction of the second resin material has progressed by being subjected to heat treatment while the unreacted portion of the second resin material is larger than that of the first resin material for the inside coatings 2, around outermost peripheries of the soft magnetic metal particles 1.
