A temperature-regulating system (10) for a fuel cell, which adjusts the temperature of an FC stack (100) by the circulation of a cooling medium, comprises a cooling medium flow path (12) for circulating cooling medium to which ion exchange resin particles have been pre-added; an ion exchanger (18) for removing the ions that elute into the cooling medium; a radiator (16) for cooling the cooling medium; and the like. The ion-exchange resin particles are present only in the amount necessary to remove, from the parts that contact the cooling medium (such as the radiator (16)), the ions that have eluted during the initial stages, and the ions that are generated over time are removed by the ion exchanger (18). It is thereby possible to reduce the cooling medium viscosity and reduce the electricity consumed by a cooling medium pump (14).
