The object of this application defines a new alloy, obtained by a method, which presents at the same time the mechanical and physical properties of the gray iron alloy, i.e., excellent machinability, damping vibration, thermal conductivity, low shrink tendency and good microstructure stability, together with a wide interface range of the CGI tensile strength.
