PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the maintenance and management of a supply path of machining fluid, regarding a machining technique for machining a lens while supplying the machining fluid. SOLUTION: A lens machining device M1 polishes a lens 1 by pressing the lens 1 while supplying machining fluid 10a to a grinding wheel 2 secured to a grinding wheel holder 3 supported against a spindle 4. An insertion end 5a of a machining fluid supply pipe 5 is inserted into an axial through-hole 4a of the spindle 4 without making contact, with a gap (g) between them, the axial through-hole 4a serving as a supply path of the machining fluid 10a, so that the machining fluid 10a is supplied from a pump 9 through the machining fluid supply pipe 5, the axial through-hole 4a, a through-hole 3a in the grinding wheel holder 3, and a machining fluid supply hole 2a in the grinding wheel 2. Since no arrangement that undergoes friction and wear due to the rotation of the spindle 4 exists in the supply path of the machining fluid 10a, maintenance can be significantly simplified.
