PURPOSE: A mold for a tire is provided to improve the uniformity and to secure high uniformity by forming a thread pattern of pitch variation type. CONSTITUTION: A mold for a tire comprises a thread ring(16). An uneven shape for forming the tread pattern of a tire is formed at the inner circumference of the thread ring. The tread ring partitions a plurality of parting faces(22a~22i) into a plurality of segments. A plurality of segments is arranged along a peripheral direction. Peripheral pitches of the peripheral direction of the elements are all different. The element with the pitch more than an average pitch exists in the location of each parting face.
