摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device having improved urea water utilizing efficiency without reducing fuel consumption. <P>SOLUTION: In an exhaust pipe 2 in which exhaust gas from a diesel engine 1 distributes, an oxidation catalyst 3, a SCR catalyst 4, an oxidation catalyst 5, and a DPF 6 are provided. Between the oxidation catalyst 3 and the SCR catalyst 4, an injection nozzle 7 is provided for injecting urea water. The injection nozzle 7 is communicated via a pipe 8 with a urea water tank 9 which stores the urea water. In the pipe 8, a urea water adding system 10 is provided for supplying the urea water from the urea water tank 9 into the injection nozzle 7. In starting the regeneration of the DPF 6, an ECU 14 stops the operation of the urea water adding system 10.
