<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor and an EPS apparatus, for restraining shock and vibration in an axis direction received from the outside from being transmitted to a rotor core or a permanent magnet through a rotating shaft, and for preventing the occurrence of torque ripple and vibration, even if the rotating state is quickly varied. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a magnet 24, a rotor core 30 of a cylindrical shape in which the magnet 24 is fixed to its outer peripheral face, and a rotor shaft 37 which passes through the axial center portion of the rotor core 30, and is fixed to the rotor core 30.
