<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use and reliable system in which even when some components malfunction, other components can work in substitution for the failed component. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a radiographic imaging system, a radiographic image reader for transmitting image data obtained by reading a radiographic image, and a controller for receiving the transmitted image data and displaying images are arranged on the same network. The controller is provided with an input part for inputting incidental information of the radiographic image read by the radiographic image reader, and performing a first operation of making the incidental information inputted from the input part before receiving the image data transmitted from the radiographic image reader, and making the image data correspond to each other; and a second operation of making the incidental information inputted from the input part after receiving the image data transmitted from the radiographic image reader and making the image data correspond to each other.
