PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform measurement accurately even when receiving light other than light for measurement. SOLUTION: Light α from a light source 10 reflects at a living body 100, transmits a first filter 21A, and reaches a first light receiving element 20A. Light β, other than that output from the light source 10, reflects at the living body 100, transmits the first filter 21A, reaches the first light receiving element 20A, transmits a second filter 21B, and reaches a second light receiving element 20B. A voltage E, which corresponds to the difference between a current Ia flowing to the first light receiving element 20A and a current Ib flowing to the second light receiving element 20B (component Ia1 of a current flowing by the light from light α1), is obtained from between an anode of the first light receiving element 20A and a cathode of the second light receiving element 20B, and a control part 30 measures a pulse or a pulse wave based on the voltage E.
